Safari Highlights
Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your 6 Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari begins with pickup from Entebbe International Airport, Kampala or your hotel. You will meet your professional safari guide before starting your journey toward western Uganda.
The drive takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, offering views of local communities, farmlands and scenic landscapes. Along the way, you will enjoy the changing scenery as you travel toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the park. Depending on your arrival time, an optional evening game drive can be arranged to begin your wildlife experience.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After breakfast, begin your wildlife adventure with a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The park is one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and many other species. The open plains provide fantastic photography opportunities as you explore the natural habitats of these animals.
Later, enjoy the famous Kazinga Channel boat cruise. This relaxing experience takes you along a waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, where you can observe large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birds along the shoreline.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda, including the famous Ishasha sector. This area is known for its tree-climbing lions and beautiful savannah scenery. During your drive, you will have the opportunity to search for wildlife before continuing toward Bwindi.
As you approach Bwindi, the landscape changes from open savannah to misty rainforest-covered hills. Bwindi is one of Africa’s oldest forests and home to some of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is the highlight of your 6 Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari as you enter Bwindi’s ancient rainforest in search of mountain gorillas.
After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your trek. Experienced guides and trackers will lead you through the forest while searching for your assigned gorilla family.
The trek offers a unique rainforest experience surrounded by incredible vegetation, birds and the peaceful sounds of nature. Depending on the location of the gorillas, the trek may take several hours, but the reward is an unforgettable encounter.
Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend one hour observing their behaviour, taking photographs and appreciating their social interactions in their natural habitat.
After the experience, return to your lodge and relax after one of Africa’s greatest wildlife adventures.

Upon arrival, enjoy a wildlife experience in the park while searching for different animals across the savannah landscapes.
