Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, you proceed to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Rangers explain the trekking guidelines, safety procedures and expectations before entering the forest.

The time required to locate the gorillas varies depending on their location that day. Some groups may be reached after a shorter walk, while others may require several hours of hiking through the forest terrain.
